Major Programs of Service

Americanism

Members are encouraged to become involved in originating patriotic endeavors and participating with others in these projects. Many of your programs help our hospitalized veterans and our troops overseas.

Community Service

The policy of charity and community service is at the heart of Emblem and is the glue that binds Emblem members together. Members keep track of the hours, miles and money that they expend on community service acts and report them to the Chairman. In Sonora we have ongoing and short term acts of community service. The community services chairman will keep you informed.

Drug Awareness

Emblem members provide assistance as it is needed in the community with financial aid and volunteer support.

Literacy

Our pledge to Literacy programs is an effort to promote reading and writing in our community. We provide financial aid to local literacy programs.

Scholarships

Our Club awards scholarships each year to the graduating students of our high schools. The committee submits applications to the high schools. A Memorial Scholarship Program is in place so members can make donations in memory of loved ones they want to honor. Cards are sent to the family and to the donor.
